The house is not just an ordinary self catering holiday cottage or a barn conversion - it is a large Victorian house built with style and opulence.

The house has a modern central heating system, and a new boiler mighty enough to power a medium-size aircraft carrier, so you can make the house as warm as you like it.

Spacious sitting room with marble working fireplace (pictured above). Coffee table and large side table and a wonderful huge and welcoming leather sofa. Panasonic Viera Plasma 42" HD TV with Freesat. VHS and DVD players. Bookcase with large selection of books, games and videos. Stripped pine floor. Bay window to south-facing garden, with a view over our park. There is wicker chair seating for 4 in the bay window with 2 coffee tables. Stereo Pure DAB radio. Antique French marble and bronze mantle clock.

Spacious Dining room (with a working fireplace), large Victorian mahogany dining table capable of seating 12 (we have had parties of 16 people around this table!) . Full double-bed width sofa bed with bed linen available on request. Bay window to south-facing garden. We have recently refurbished this magnificent Italian marble fireplace with African granite hearth. Of course, it can be fired with firewood on a cold day! Large James Dodd lino cut of Cromer. Spacious kitchen with double oven gas range cooker "Stoves", fridge freezer "John Lewis", dishwasher "John Lewis" and microwave "Panasonic", as well as double Delongi toaster, espresso machine "Krupp" and radio "Sony". Large range of storage units containing sufficient china, glass and cutlery etc with a range of quality cooking utensils. Extending kitchen dining table and stools.

Off the kitchen is a small utility area with washing machine and a ground floor toilet and wash-hand basin.

Upstairs on the first floor there is a wonderful new bathroom, and 3 double bedrooms.

1. "Tudor-style" four-poster bedroom with timber panelling, carved mahogany four-poster bed, antique furniture and rugs. Mahogany wardrobe, and marble fireplace (non-working). Zoffany wallpaper and antique framed prints.

2. Contemporary style bedroom, with leather bed, leather seating, and wool pile rugs. Wood panelling, hardwood oak modern furniture. Original artwork by a Scottish artist from Cape Wrath.

3. Smaller back double bedroom, overlooking former stables and coach house. Modern furniture.

We do have available a travel cot and a high chair for babies/small children.

There is high speed wireless broadband coverage throughout the house.

Garden is walled/enclosed, so is child/pet proof. We advise supervision at all times, though.
