Q: How many people can stay at the same
time?
A: There are three separate bedrooms each with a double bed, and 2
King size
good quality
sofa beds downstairs in the dining and sitting rooms, accommodating
10 people in
total. Also
available an inflatable Deluxe King size Aero bed on base (please request when
booking). This bed looks and feels like a permanent bed. There is a travel cot
for babies.
The house is large, and we had parties of over 10 people staying on a number of occasions without problems.
On occasion our guests bring larger parties with them, who stay outside in the garden in tents. This is normally also ok with us, but please ask when booking.
Q: Can I bring a dog?
A: We welcome well behaved dogs at no extra charge, but please let
us know at the time of booking that you are bringing one. Some of
our guests bring more than one dog, this is also OK with us. There is plenty of space in the garden for a dog to run around in.
The garden is walled, so the place is secure.
Q: Is the house haunted?
A: No, but, if you are into that sort of thing, we can borrow a
ghost from the neighbouring estate... (just kidding)
Q: Do you provide firewood?
A: There are two working fireplaces downstairs: one in the sitting
room and one in the dining room. We provide a starter pack which
includes kindling and a few logs; if you would like some top quality
broadleaf seasoned firewood, we would be glad to provide that at
cost to us, which is currently £5 per builders' tub.
Q: Where is the house?
A: The house is one of the biggest in central Holt, with
almost 2 acre garden. Please see aerial picture

Our guests often cite the location of the house as one of the top
benefits of The Lawns, as one can feel like staying in the country,
but leaving the doorstep you are immediately in town, which is the
jewel of the North Norfolk coast.
Q: What other attractions are there in the area?

there on offer in the area, so do ask us if you want some advice on
local attractions.
Q: Is linen provided?
A: Sheets made
of top quality Egyptian cotton are provided free of charge, as are
towels and tea-towels.
Q: Is there a highchair?
A: Yes,
there is. There is also a travel cot .
Q: Do you do mid-week bookings?
A:
We will consider each request individually, however during the peak
season mid-week bookings are unlikely to be accepted.
Q: How many cars can we park?
A:
There is enough space in the front of the house for 5-6 guest cars.
Q: What is there in terms of cooking utensils?
A: There is good quality set suitable for cooking almost any dish.
We are constantly adding to the collection, so if you tell us what
is missing (within reason, of course), we will try to provide it as
soon as possible.
There is enough china/cutlery in the house to cater for larger parties of up to 12 -15 people. Please ask us when booking.
Q: Can you provide a catering service?
A: There are a number of top quality catering arrangements that can
be made available on request. Please ask for further details when
booking.
